CANDLE CARE

  • I. Before You Light

Trim the wick to 1/4 inch before each burn. This keeps the flame steady and helps prevent excess soot.

Place your candle on a heat-safe surface, away from drafts, pets, and anything flammable. A calm environment creates a cleaner, more even burn.

  • II. First Burn

Allow the wax to melt fully across the surface during the first burn. This usually takes 2–3 hours and helps prevent tunneling, ensuring an even burn for the life of your candle.

  • III. Mid Burn

Never leave a burning candle unattended. Burn within sight and for no more than 4 hours at a time.

If the flame becomes too high or flickers excessively, extinguish the candle, trim the wick, and relight once cooled.

  • IV. After Burn

Let the wax cool and solidify before moving your candle.

Trim the wick again before the next burn to maintain a clean flame and preserve the scent experience.

  • V. Call It Quits

Discontinue use when 1/4 inch of wax remains at the bottom of the vessel. This helps prevent overheating and protects the integrity of the container.

vi. A PARTING THOUGHT

Our candles are made with natural, clean-burning ingredients. Variations in wax appearance are normal and part of the beauty of working with thoughtfully sourced materials.

Burn slowly. Stay present. Enjoy the journey.
